BUENA VISTA, Va. - The College Sports Communicators (CSC) released its annual Academic All-District men's and women's soccer teams.

The award recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. Honorees are recognized at each level of NCAA competition, as well as NAIA.

Jackson Gorringe, Landon Stock, and Kenyon Grange represent the Southern Virginia men's soccer team. It's Gorringe's second time being recognized for the award.

Representing the women's team is Tessa Miller, Addison Newman, and Lauren Madsen. Madsen, a senior majoring in Spanish, is also honored for the second time in her career.

All six have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5, one of the requirements to be nominated, and played a key and consistent role in their team's performance this season.
