LEXINGTON, Va. - The Southern Virginia University men's and women's swim teams closed out their third consecutive weekend of competition with a pair of losses to Washington and Lee, but there were still several standout performances from the Knights.
Men's ResultsÂ
Caleb Dixon continued his winning ways by winning at least two events for the fourth time this season.Â
He won handedly in the 100 and 200 backstroke, but also helped the Knights to their best time of the season in the 200 medley relay. With the help of Holton Bundy, McCormick Johnson and Sam Dearing, their time of 1:39.85 was less than a second behind the Generals.
Joining Dixon in the 100 back was Brockton Welling, who produced a big season's best in 1:02.68. In the 100 breaststroke, a tight finish led Holton Bundy to a second-place showing, less than two-tenths of a second behind first.

Overall, the men had two individual victories and seven top-three finishes
Women's Results
Southern Virginia got two wins in the freestyle to kickoff the evening. Miranda Parker took the 1000 and Kate Black closed well to take the 200.
The Knights' next victory came in the 50 free from none other than Jamie Horne, who's time of 25.30 crushed her previous season best.Â
She nearly doubled in the 100 free, closing with the fastest final lap in the field, but coming just half a second short of another win.
