BUENA VISTA, Va.  - Just a couple of days after clinching another USA South title, the Southern Virginia University women's volleyball were one of 64 teams featured during the 2025 NCAA Division lll Women's Volleyball Selection Show.

The Knights will clash with Hope College (22-6) in the opening round on Thursday, November 20th at 4:30 PM. Carnegie Mellon will play host to the regional in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

The Flying Dutch hail from Holland, Michigan and are coming off a loss in the MIAA Conference final. However, they bring a tradition of winning to the tournament after a trip to the national semifinal just one season ago.

While it's already their fourth appearance in 'the dance' since 2021, Southern Virginia is in search of its first tournament victory in program history. They boast one of the countries best defenses at 2.66 blocks per set, good for third in Division lll.
